Traditional Apple Tart Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 pre-made pie crust (or you can make it from scratch)
  • 3-4 large Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
  • 1 egg, beaten

Instructions:
