Venison Pie Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 lb. ground venison
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/2 tsp. thyme
- 1/2 tsp. rosemary
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1 egg, beaten
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- In a pan, cook the ground venison over medium heat until browned.

- Pour in the beef broth and add the thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper.

- Place the remaining pastry on top and crimp the edges with a fork.
- Brush the top with the remaining egg and cut a few slits to vent.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown.
