Zucchini Fries: Gourmet Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 large zucchinis
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 eggs, beaten

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cut the zucchini into thin strips, approximately 1/4 inch wide and 3 inches long.
  3. In a bowl, mix the breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, oregano, basil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper together until evenly combined.
  4. Dip each zucchini strip into the beaten eggs, then generously coat with the breadcrumb mixture. Place each coated zucchini strip onto the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove from the oven and serve hot with your favourite dipping sauce.
