Apple, Walnut and Cinnamon Cake
Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup grated apple
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/2 cup milk
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a medium bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, cream together butter and eggs until smooth, then stir in grated apple and chopped walnuts.
- Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix well. Gradually stir in milk until batter is smooth.
- Pour batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
- Let cake cool in pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
