Brussels Waffle recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 3/4 cups milk
  • 2 eggs, separated
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together milk, egg yolks, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  3. Make a well in the dry ingredients mixture, and pour in the wet ingredient mixture. Mix until the batter is smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg whites until stiff peaks form. Fold them gently into the batter mixture.
  5. Cook the waffles according to your waffle maker’s instructions, until they are golden brown and crispy.
