Cheese Naans with Tomme Vaudoise Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup grated Tomme Vaudoise cheese
- 2 tbsp. chopped fresh cilantro
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, and baking soda.
- Add the yogurt, milk, and vegetable oil to the dry mixture and stir until well combined.
- Add the grated cheese and cilantro and mix well.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F/200°C.
- Divide the dough into 8 equal-sized balls and roll them out into 1/4-inch-thick circles.
- Place the naans on a greased baking sheet and bake them for 10-15 minutes, until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.

Serve the cheese naans warm, with a side of raita or chutney. These naans make a great addition to any Indian meal, as well as a tasty appetizer or snack. The Tomme Vaudoise cheese adds a rich and nutty flavor to the naans, making them even more delicious.
