Chicken Samosas Recipe

Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp. ground cumin
- 1 tsp. ground coriander

- 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. black pepper
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1/4 cup frozen peas
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 package (16 oz.) phyllo dough, thawed
- 1/2 cup melted butter
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add onion and garlic and cook until onion is softened.
- Add ground chicken to the skillet. Cook until browned, stirring often to break up the meat.
- Add cumin, coriander, turmeric, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Stir to combine with the chicken.
- Add cilantro and peas to the skillet, cook for 2-3 more minutes.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Unfold phyllo dough and cut it into rectangles (approx. 4 inches by 6 inches).
- Brush each rectangle with melted butter.
- Place 1 tablespoon of chicken filling onto the bottom corner of each rectangle.
- Begin folding the phyllo dough into triangles, wrapping the filling inside. Brush the outside with more butter to seal.
- Repeat until all of the filling is used up.
- Place samosas on a baking sheet and bake in preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
