Chorizo Bread

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp active dry yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1/2 cup diced chorizo sausage
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • 1/4 cup diced green bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup diced red bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, yeast, and salt. Mix well.

  3. Knead the dough for 5-10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
  4. In another bowl, mix chorizo, onion, green and red bell pepper, cheddar cheese, and olive oil.

  6. Spread the chorizo mixture on top of the dough, leaving a little edge uncovered.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven at 375°F for 25-30 minutes until the crust is golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.
