Clafoutis with Jam

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of flour
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup of your favorite jam
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Butter for baking dish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Add butter to a 9-inch (23cm) baking dish and place it into the oven, allowing the butter to melt.
  2. In a mixing bowl, add flour, sugar, salt, eggs, vanilla extract and milk. Mix well until the batter becomes smooth.
  3. Remove the baking dish from the oven and pour the batter into the dish.
  4. Add jam to the batter, using a spoon, distribute it evenly over the top.
  5. Bake the clafoutis for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the center is fully cooked.
  6. When done, remove the clafoutis from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving. It can be served warm or chilled.
