Ingredients:

  • 500g cod fillet, skinned and deboned
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder

  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or a deep saucepan to 180°C.
  2. Cut the cod fillet into small pieces and place them in a food processor along with the onion and garlic. Pulse until well combined and smooth.
  3. In a mixing bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, paprika, thyme, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Add the egg and milk to the dry mixture, whisking until smooth.
