Ingredients:

  • 6 endives
  • 4 slices of raw ham
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 4 cups of chicken stock
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp of butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. Cut the endives into thin slices and set aside.
  2. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
  3. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until the onions are translucent.
  4. Add the sliced endives and stir to coat with the onion and garlic mixture.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  10. Cut the slices of raw ham into thin strips and add to the pot. Let the mixture gently simmer for another 5 minutes.
  11. Remove from heat and serve hot.
