Ham Cheesecake Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups crushed butter crackers
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 3 cups diced cooked ham
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together the crushed butter crackers and melted butter until well combined. Press the mixture onto the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Bake for 10 minutes.
  3. In a large skillet, sauté the ham and onion in butter over medium heat until the onion is translucent. Set aside to cool slightly.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add the sour cream, eggs, flour, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  5. Stir in the sautéed ham and onion mixture into the cream cheese mixture.
  6. Pour the mixture over the crust. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the center is set.
  7. Remove from oven. Let it cool for 10 minutes. Then, release the sides of the springform pan.
