Fish ceviche


Fish Ceviche Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. white fish filets (tilapia, halibut, cod, etc.)
  • 1 red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • Tortilla chips for serving

Instructions:

  1. Cut the fish into small cubes, about 1/2 inch in size.
  2. Place the fish in a non-reactive bowl (glass or ceramic).
  3. Add the chopped onion, jalapeño, lime juice, lemon juice, orange juice, salt and black pepper to the bowl with the fish.
  4. Stir well to combine all the ingredients together.
  5. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, up to 2 hours.
  6. Before serving, add the chopped cilantro and stir again.
  7. Place the ceviche in a serving bowl or individual glasses and serve with tortilla chips.
