Fish Ceviche Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 lb. white fish filets (tilapia, halibut, cod, etc.)
- 1 red onion, finely chopped
- 1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and finely chopped
- 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- Tortilla chips for serving
Instructions:
- Cut the fish into small cubes, about 1/2 inch in size.
- Place the fish in a non-reactive bowl (glass or ceramic).
- Add the chopped onion, jalapeño, lime juice, lemon juice, orange juice, salt and black pepper to the bowl with the fish.
- Stir well to combine all the ingredients together.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, up to 2 hours.
- Before serving, add the chopped cilantro and stir again.
- Place the ceviche in a serving bowl or individual glasses and serve with tortilla chips.
