Fish fondue

Fish Fondue Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound of your choice of fish (salmon, cod, tilapia, etc.), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions:

  1. In a shallow dish, mix together the flour, salt, and pepper. Dredge the fish pieces in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
  2. In a fondue pot or large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chicken or vegetable broth, white wine, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika, stirring to combine. Bring the mixture to a simmer.
  3. Place the fondue pot on the stand over a low heat source. Arrange the dredged fish pieces on a platter and bring to the table along with the fondue pot.
  4. Place one piece of fish on a fondue fork and dip it into the simmering broth mixture. Cook until the fish is fully cooked, about 2-3 minutes. Repeat with the remaining fish pieces.
  5. In a small bowl, mix together the heavy cream and cornstarch. Add the mixture to the fondue pot and stir until well combined.
  6. Add the Parmesan cheese to the fondue pot and stir until the cheese is melted and the mixture is smooth.
  7. Serve the fondue with the cooked fish pieces, dipping each piece into the cheese sauce before eating.

This fish fondue recipe is a fun and delicious way to enjoy a seafood feast with family and friends. The broth is flavorful and helps to cook the fish perfectly, while the cheesy sauce adds a creamy and indulgent finish to the dish.
