Fresh Goat Cheese Turnovers with Figs Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 package puff pastry, thawed
- 8 oz fresh goat cheese
- 4-5 ripe figs, thinly sliced
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh thyme
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface until it is about 1/8 inch thick. Cut the pastry into 4-inch squares. Place them on a lined baking sheet.
- In a bowl, mix the goat cheese, honey, thyme, salt, and pepper until well combined.
