Hazelnut Brownies Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 3/4 cup of unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 cups of granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup of chopped hazelnuts, toasted

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan with non-stick cooking spray. Set aside.
  2. In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt until combined. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together the melted butter, sugar, and cocoa powder until smooth. Add the eggs and vanilla extract and stir until well combined.
  4. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined. Fold in the chopped hazelnuts and mix until combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it out evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the brownies comes out clean.
