Leek, Salmon and Shrimp Gratin Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 leeks, cut into thin slices
  • 1 pound salmon, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, sauté the leeks and garlic in olive oil and butter until softened.
  3. Add the salmon and shrimp to the skillet and cook until the shrimp turns pink and the salmon is cooked through, about 5 to 8 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle the flour over the salmon and shrimp mixture and stir until well coated.
  5. Add the milk slowly to the skillet while continuously stirring until the mixture thickens, about 5 to 7 minutes.
