Liège Coffee Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup brewed coffee
  • 2 tbsp dark brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Whipped cream (optional)
  • Cinnamon sticks (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a small saucepan, combine the brewed coffee, brown sugar, honey, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until sugar is completely dissolved.
  2. Add the milk and continue to heat the mixture until it reaches your desired temperature.
  3. Pour the mixture into a coffee mug.
  4. If desired, top with whipped cream and sprinkle with cinnamon.

Liège coffee is perfect for a cozy morning or afternoon pick-me-up. Pair it with your favorite breakfast pastry or enjoy it on its own as a sweet treat.

You can also make a large batch of this recipe and serve it in a coffee pot at your next brunch or gathering.
