Munster Tartiflette Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 lb Munster cheese, grated
  • 1/2 lb bacon, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  2. Grease a large baking dish with butter.
  3. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy, stirring occasionally (~10 minutes).
  4. Remove the bacon with a slotted spoon, set aside.
  5. Add the onions and garlic to the bacon fat and cook until softened (~5 minutes).
  6. Add the sliced potatoes and toss to coat.
