  2. In another mixing bowl, beat the egg until fluffy. Add the milk and vegetable oil, and mix well.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  4. Add the grated apple and mix gently.
  5. Melt a teaspoon of butter in a non-stick frying pan over medium heat.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of the batter onto the frying pan, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  7. Cook until bubbles form on the surface and the edges start to look dry, then flip and cook until lightly browned on the other side. Repeat until all the batter is used.

Verdict:

These apple pancakes are a delicious and unique twist on classic pancakes. The grated apple adds a nice texture and sweetness that pairs well with the fluffy and light pancake batter. They are perfect for breakfast or brunch, and can be served with your choice of topping such as maple syrup, whipped cream, or even a dollop of apple sauce.

Serving Suggestions:

Top the apple pancakes with a sprinkle of cinnamon, a drizzle of honey, chopped nuts or raisins, or even a dollop of whipped cream or yogurt. Serve with some fresh fruit and a cup of coffee or tea for a delightful breakfast treat.
