Nuts Cake Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups of sugar
  • 1 cup of unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 cup of mixed nuts, chopped (walnuts, pecans, almonds)
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9-inch cake pan.
  3. In a bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. In a separate bowl, using an electric mixer, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  5. Add eggs, one at a time, and continue mixing.
  6. Add vanilla extract and mix until well combined.
  7. Slowly add the flour mixture and milk to the butter mixture in batches, alternating between the two.
  8. Stir in the mixed nuts.
  9. Pour batter into the greased cake pan.
  10. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  11. Let the cake cool for 10 minutes before removing from the pan.
