Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup pitted, chopped Kalamata olives
  • 2 Tbsp milk

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt together in a medium bowl.
  3. Cut in butter until mixture is crumbly.
  4. Stir in Parmesan, olives, and milk until dough comes together.
  5. Form dough into a ball and place on a lightly floured surface. Roll out dough into a 1/4-inch thick rectangle.
  6. Cut dough into 1/2-inch wide strips. Twist each strip and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
