Palmiers with Tomme de Savoie and Blue Poppy Seed Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 100g Tomme de Savoie cheese, grated
  • 2 tbsp blue poppy seeds

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C/180°C fan/gas mark 6.
  2. Dust a clean surface with flour and roll out the puff pastry into a rectangle approximately 30cm x 20cm.
  3. Sprinkle the grated Tomme de Savoie cheese evenly over the puff pastry.
  4. Sprinkle the blue poppy seeds over the cheese.
  5. Starting from the short end, roll the pastry tightly into a log.
  6. Using a sharp knife, slice the pastry into 1cm-thick rounds and place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
  7. Bake the palmiers in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, until they are golden brown and puffed up.
  8. Remove the palmiers from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
