Pannacotta with Peaches in Syrup Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 teaspoons gelatin powder
- 1/4 cup cold water
- 1 can of sliced peaches, drained (or 2 fresh peaches, pitted and sliced)
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cinnamon stick
Instructions:
- In a medium saucepan, combine heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract over low heat. Cook, stirring constantly, until the sugar has dissolved.
- In a small bowl, mix gelatin powder and cold water together. Add this mixture to the warm cream mixture. Stir until gelatin has dissolved.
- Remove from heat and let mixture cool for 10 minutes.
- Pour mixture into serving glasses or ramekins. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until set.
- In a small saucepan, combine sliced peaches, water, granulated sugar, and cinnamon stick over medium heat. Cook for 10-15 minutes or until peaches are tender and syrupy.
- Let peaches cool slightly and then spoon over the top of the pannacotta.
