Pastis Mussels Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs. mussels, cleaned and debearded
  • 1 cup Pastis (French anise-flavored liqueur)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 shallot, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp. unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
