Ingredients:

  • 1 fresh egg
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • Salt and pepper (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Fill a deep pot with water and bring it to a boil.
  2. Reduce the heat to a simmer and add the white vinegar.
  3. Crack the egg into a small dish or ramekin.
  4. Using a spoon, create a vortex in the simmering water.
  5. Pour the egg into the center of the vortex.
  6. Cook for 3-4 minutes or until the white is set and the yolk is still runny.
  7. Remove the egg from the water using a slotted spoon and place it on a paper towel to absorb any excess water.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste (optional).
