Ingredients:

  • 1 kg potatoes, sliced
  • 300 g smoked ham, diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated cheese (cheddar or Gruyere)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Melt the butter in a large pan over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened.
