Raspberry Clafoutis Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Confectioners’ sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9-inch (23 cm) pie dish with butter.
  3. Arrange raspberries on the bottom of the dish.
  4. In a bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until smooth.
  5. Add the milk, flour, salt, and vanilla extract, and stir until well combined.
  6. Pour the mixture over the raspberries.
  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the clafoutis is set and golden brown on top.
  8. Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
  9. Dust with confectioners’ sugar, if desired.

Serving suggestions:

Serve the Raspberry Clafoutis warm or cold as a dessert or breakfast. You can also top it with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for a more indulgent treat. Enjoy the tangy sweetness of the raspberries combined with the creamy, custardy texture of the clafoutis.
