Rice Pudding Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of white rice
  • 2 cups of water
  • 4 cups of whole milk
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 1 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp of salt
  • 1 tsp of ground cinnamon
  • Optional toppings: raisins, nuts, or additional cinnamon

Instructions:

  1. Rinse the rice with cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. In a medium saucepan, bring the 2 cups of water to a boil.
  3. Add the rice to the boiling water and reduce the heat to low, cover the saucepan with a lid and let simmer for 18-20 minutes, until the rice is tender and all the water has been absorbed.

  8. Cover and refrigerate until completely chilled.
