Roquefort and Walnut Tart Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup crumbled Roquefort cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Unroll the puff pastry sheet and press it into a 9-inch tart pan.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs and heavy cream.
  4. Add the Roquefort cheese, chopped walnuts, honey, salt, and pepper to the egg mixture and mix well.
  5. Pour the filling into the prepared tart shell.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the filling is set and the crust is golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven and allow to cool before slicing and serving.

Serving Suggestions

Serve the Roquefort and Walnut Tart warm or at room temperature. It pairs well with a crisp green salad and a glass of white wine.
