- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 4 cups fresh spinach, chopped
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1 cup heavy cream
Instructions:
- In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic and sauté until tender, about 5 minutes.
- Add chicken broth and chopped spinach and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes, or until the spinach is wilted and tender.

- Stir in salt, black pepper, and ground nutmeg. Add heavy cream and stir until combined.
- Return the pot to medium heat and cook until heated through, about 5 minutes.
- Serve hot and enjoy!

This spinach soup recipe is easy to make and has a rich, creamy texture that makes it a comforting and satisfying meal. The spinach adds a healthy dose of nutrients, while the nutmeg and pepper add a subtle depth of flavor. Serve with crusty bread or a side salad for a complete meal.
Serving Suggestions:
- Serve with croutons or toasted bread for added crunch.
- Add some grated Parmesan cheese on top for extra flavor.
