  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons tandoori masala
  • 1 tablespoon ginger paste
  • 1 tablespoon garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons oil

Instructions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together yogurt, lemon juice, tandoori masala, ginger paste, garlic paste, salt, and oil.
  2. Add the chicken pieces to the bowl and coat the chicken in the marinade, making sure each piece is covered evenly.
  3. Cover the chicken and let it marinate for at least 2-3 hours, or overnight for the best results in the refrigerator.
  4. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  5. Remove the chicken from the marinade and shake off any excess sauce. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish or tray, lined with parchment paper, leaving some space between each piece.
  6. Bake the chicken for 35-40 minutes or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C) when checked with a meat thermometer. Alternatively, you can also grill the chicken for the best flavor.
  7. Serve hot with lemon wedges and mint chutney on the side.
