Salmon Tartiflette

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 oz. smoked salmon, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated gruyere cheese
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Boil potatoes in salted water for 10 minutes or until cooked.
  3. Meanwhile, saute the onion and garlic in butter until soft.
  4. Add the smoked salmon and cook for another 3 minutes.
  5. In a bowl, mix together the cream and grated cheese.
  6. Drain the potatoes and layer them in a baking dish.
  7. Add the smoked salmon mixture over the potatoes, and season with salt and pepper.
  8. Pour the cream and cheese mixture over the top of the salmon and potatoes.
  9. Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
