Caramelized Apple Crumble Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 6 medium-sized apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add granulated sugar and butter. Stir until the butter has melted, and the mixture is blended well.
  3. Stir in the sliced apples, cinnamon powder, and salt. Lower the heat and cook for 8-10 minutes, or until the apples soften. Remove from heat and set aside.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine all-purpose flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, and baking powder. Mix thoroughly.
  5. Add the melted butter to the flour mixture and mix until crumbs appear.
  6. Place the apple mixture at the bottom of an 8×8 inch baking dish. Spread the crumble mixture evenly over the apples.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the crumble is golden brown. Remove from oven and allow to cool for a few minutes.

Serving Suggestions:

Serve warm or at room temperature with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. You can also serve it for breakfast with Greek yogurt or oatmeal. Enjoy your delicious caramelized apple crumble!
