Caramelized Apple Crumble Recipe
Ingredients:
- 6 medium-sized apples, peeled and sliced
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add granulated sugar and butter. Stir until the butter has melted, and the mixture is blended well.
- Stir in the sliced apples, cinnamon powder, and salt. Lower the heat and cook for 8-10 minutes, or until the apples soften. Remove from heat and set aside.
- In a separate bowl, combine all-purpose flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, and baking powder. Mix thoroughly.
- Add the melted butter to the flour mixture and mix until crumbs appear.
- Place the apple mixture at the bottom of an 8×8 inch baking dish. Spread the crumble mixture evenly over the apples.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the crumble is golden brown. Remove from oven and allow to cool for a few minutes.
Serving Suggestions:
