- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup milk chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Toping of your choice (Sprinkles, nuts, chocolate chips, mini marshmallows, etc.)
- 6 wooden sticks
Directions:
- Wash the apples and dry them thoroughly
- Insert a wooden stick in the top of each apple
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat
- Melt the semisweet chocolate chips and butter in a double boiler over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth.
- Add the vanilla extract to the chocolate mixture and stir well.
- Dip each of the apples into the chocolate mixture, making sure the apple is evenly coated. Use a spoon to help spread the chocolate around the apple. Allow the excess chocolate to drip off before placing the apple on the baking sheet.
