Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions

- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- Cut in the butter using a pastry cutter or fork until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add egg yolk, vanilla extract, and 1 tablespoon of water. Mix until the dough comes together.
- Divide the dough in half and roll out each half onto a lightly floured surface to a thickness of about 1/8 inch.
- Using a 2 inch round cookie cutter, cut out the pastry dough and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden brown. Remove from oven and let cool.
- Spread raspberry jam evenly over the bottom of half of the pastry rounds.
- Top with remaining pastry rounds.
- In a small bowl, combine powdered sugar and 1 tablespoon of milk. Mix until smooth and drizzle over the top of the pastries. Add an extra tablespoon of milk if needed for a thinner consistency.
