Lemon Tiramisu Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1/2 cup lemon curd
  • 1/4 cup limoncello liqueur
  • 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 24 ladyfingers, savoiardi or boudoir biscuits
  • 1 lemon, zested

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the heavy cream and granulated sugar together until stiff peaks form.
  2. In a separate bowl, beat the mascarpone cheese until smooth. Add in the lemon curd and mix until well combined.
  3. Gradually fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture.
  4. Mix the limoncello and lemon juice together in a small bowl. Dip each ladyfinger into the mixture, making sure to coat both sides.
  5. Arrange a layer of the soaked ladyfingers in the bottom of a 9×13 inch dish. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture on top.
  6. Repeat with another layer of soaked ladyfingers and the remaining mascarpone mixture.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or overnight to allow the flavors to meld together.
  8. Before serving, garnish the top of the tiramisu with the lemon zest.
