Light Vegan Brownies Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsweetened apple sauce
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup almond milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
- Grease an 8×8-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl, combine apple sauce, maple syrup, almond milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Whisk until well combined.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Fold in the dark chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish, and smooth out the surface with a spatula.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the brownies comes out clean.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for at least 10 minutes before slicing.
