Plain Cookies Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs, at room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, using an electric mixer, beat the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy.

  8. Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes.
  9. Transfer the cookies to wire racks and let cool completely.
