Shrimp Dumplings Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp. grated ginger
  • 3 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp. sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp. rice wine vinegar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. white pepper
  • 1 package dumpling wrappers
  • Water for boiling

Instructions:

  1. In a food processor, pulse the shrimp until it is finely chopped.
  2. Add the garlic, ginger, green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, rice wine vinegar, egg, salt, and white pepper.
    Pulse the mixture until it is well combined.
  3. Place a small spoonful of the shrimp mixture in the center of a dumpling wrapper.
  4. Wet the edges of the wrapper with water and fold it in half, making sure to seal the edges tightly.
  5. Place the shrimp dumplings in a pot of boiling water and let them cook for 2-3 minutes. They will be done when they float to the surface.
  6. Remove the dumplings from the water with a slotted spoon and serve hot.
