Shrimp Dumplings Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 lb. shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp. grated ginger
- 3 green onions, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 tbsp. sesame oil
- 1 tbsp. rice wine vinegar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. white pepper
- 1 package dumpling wrappers
- Water for boiling
Instructions:
- In a food processor, pulse the shrimp until it is finely chopped.
- Add the garlic, ginger, green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, rice wine vinegar, egg, salt, and white pepper.
Pulse the mixture until it is well combined. - Place a small spoonful of the shrimp mixture in the center of a dumpling wrapper.
- Wet the edges of the wrapper with water and fold it in half, making sure to seal the edges tightly.
- Place the shrimp dumplings in a pot of boiling water and let them cook for 2-3 minutes. They will be done when they float to the surface.
