Super Simple Chicken Fried Noodles
Ingredients
- 8 oz. dried noodles
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into small pieces
- 1 large carrot, sliced diagonally
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup oyster sauce
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 green onions, sliced diagonally
Directions
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of oil over high heat. Add chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove chicken from pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, heat 1 tablespoon of oil. Add sliced carrots and garlic and cook for 2-3 minutes until tender.
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, chicken broth, sugar, and black pepper. Add sauce to the pan and stir to combine.
- Return chicken to the pan along with the cooked noodles. Toss everything together until well combined and heated through, about 2-3 minutes.
- Garnish with green onions and serve immediately.
