Whole Pear Cake Recipe
Ingredients
- 3 large pears
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9-inch cake pan.
- Peel and core the pears. Cut 2 pears into quarters and slice the third crosswise into thin slices. Set aside.
