Bolognese Tagliatelle Recipe

  4. Add the chopped tomatoes, tomato puree, beef stock, bay leaf and a pinch of salt and pepper.
  5. Bring to the boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
  6. Meanwhile, cook the tagliatelle pasta according to the packet instructions until al dente.
  7. Drain the pasta and add it to the pot with the Bolognese sauce. Toss to coat the pasta in the sauce.
  8. Divide the tagliatelle and Bolognese sauce between bowls and serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.
