Butternut Squash Gratin Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 butternut squash
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Gruyere cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Peel and slice the butternut squash into 1/4 inch thick rounds.
- In a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, layer the butternut squash rounds evenly.
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and thyme leaves. Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
- Let the butternut squash gratin cool for a few minutes before serving.
