Cannelloni Gratin with Tomato, Parmesan, Olives and Tarragon Recipe
Ingredients:
- 10-12 cannelloni tubes
- 1 jar of tomato sauce (500 g)
- 1 cup of pitted black olives, chopped
- 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon of fresh tarragon, chopped
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil for greasing the baking dish
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the cannelloni tubes according to the package instructions. Rinse them in cold water and drain.
- In a bowl, mix the tomato sauce with the chopped olives and fresh tarragon. Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Grease a baking dish with olive oil. Spoon a thin layer of the tomato sauce onto the bottom of the dish.
- Fill the cannelloni tubes with the remaining tomato sauce using a spoon or piping bag.
- Arrange the cannelloni tubes in a single layer in the baking dish.
- Spoon the remaining tomato sauce on top of the cannelloni tubes.
- Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese on top.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for another 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden brown.
- Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
