Cannelloni with Broccio and Trumpets of Death Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 14 Cannelloni tubes
  • 1 lb. Broccio cheese
  • 1 cup Trumpet mushrooms, chopped
  • 1 clove Garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp. Olive oil
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • 1 tsp. Black pepper
  • 1 cup Marinara sauce
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Cook the Cannelloni tubes according to the package directions.
  3. While the pasta is cooking, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and stir for 30 seconds.
  4. Add chopped Trumpet mushrooms, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Cook for 5 minutes until mushrooms are tender and golden.
  5. Crumble the Broccio cheese and mix with the mushroom mixture.
  6. Fill the cooked Cannelloni tubes with the mixture. Place in a baking dish.
  7. Mix together marinara sauce and heavy cream. Pour over the Cannelloni tubes.
  8. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
