Chicken Wrap Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 whole wheat or spinach wraps
  • 1/4 cup hummus
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped cucumber

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Place the chicken breasts between two sheets of parchment paper. Use a meat mallet or rolling pin to pound the chicken to an even thickness.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  4. Brush the chicken breasts with the olive oil mixture.
  5. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  6. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side until cooked through.

  11. Roll up the wraps tightly, tucking in the sides as you go.
  12. Serve immediately.
