Fish Cakes Delight Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 lbs of cooked salmon (canned or fresh)
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Flake the cooked salmon in a large bowl, removing any skin and bones. Add the breadcrumbs, green onions, mayonnaise, egg, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt. Mix well.
- Using your hands, form the mixture into small patties about 2 inches in diameter and 1/2 inch thick.
- Lightly coat each patty with flour and shake off any excess.
- In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the patties, being careful not to overcrowd the pan. Cook until golden brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Transfer the patties to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until cooked through and golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
