Fish Cakes Delight Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 lbs of cooked salmon (canned or fresh)
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Flake the cooked salmon in a large bowl, removing any skin and bones. Add the breadcrumbs, green onions, mayonnaise, egg, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt. Mix well.
  3. Using your hands, form the mixture into small patties about 2 inches in diameter and 1/2 inch thick.
  4. Lightly coat each patty with flour and shake off any excess.
  5. In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the patties, being careful not to overcrowd the pan. Cook until golden brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  6. Transfer the patties to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until cooked through and golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
