Fish Curry Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 kg fish, cleaned and cut into pieces
- 2 onions, chopped
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 teaspoons grated ginger
- 2 green chillies, chopped
- 3 tomatoes, chopped
- 1 tablespoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1 cup coconut milk
- Salt, to taste
- 2 tablespoons oil
- Fresh coriander leaves, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add onions and sauté until light brown.
- Add garlic, ginger, and green chillies. Sauté for 2 minutes.
- Add tomatoes and cook until they soften.
- Add coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, and salt. Mix well.
- Add fish pieces and stir well to coat with the spices.
- Pour in coconut milk and bring to a boil.
- Reduce the heat, cover the pan, and let the curry simmer for 15-20 minutes or until the fish is cooked.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or naan.
