Grilled Cheese Sandwich Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 2-3 slices of cheese, of your choice (e.g. cheddar, mozzarella, American)
  • Butter or margarine

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your stove-top griddle or frying pan to medium heat.
  2. Spread some butter or margarine on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Place one slice of bread, butter-side down, on the griddle or frying pan.
  4. Add the cheese slices on top of the bread, then place the other slice of bread on top, butter-side up.
  5. Cook until the cheese has melted and the bread is golden brown on one side, then carefully flip the sandwich and cook until the other side is golden brown and the cheese is fully melted.
  6. Remove the sandwich from the griddle or frying pan, cut into halves or quarters, and serve hot.
